A Poem for Thought
May or may not be in book; not sure yet!
Transparency: A Virtue
Thoughts: Today moral and ethical standards in presentation of one's self is becoming more and more rare. Especially with Social Media making deception possible. Read meaning to Virtue according to Merriam-Webster dictionary at https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/virtue. and meaning to Transparency at https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/transparency. When told by your boss you are the most honest, genuine, and transparent person at your job and that others can learn from you says a great deal about your presentation of self. But, what is crazy is when all you are doing is being yourself. Makes one wonder where did being your self in being transparent stop being the norm. And, in doing so, one having to become cautious of others. Good to always be yourself, no matter what the dealing is with another because today transparency is a virtue.

A little advice
Looking back over some of my poetry I noticed in writing them, if I was stressed it showed in the poetry. I do enjoy very much writing and sharing poems. And yes sometimes it is a challenge, but a challenge I enjoy. However, if you don’t want your aggravation to show in your poems then I would advise not to write them when your stressed. In this, however, I guess it depends on what you are expressing in the poem. Just saying!

What is Poetry?
Due the sensitive subject matter of my current Poetry Book project (Words of Inspiration-Genesis) have decided to try to express what poetry is and my objective in deciding to write poem books while reading through the Bible. For me, it's strictly all about inspirational expression, thought, and spiritual engagement!
First, although there isn't a definitive determination to define what is poetry, and thou over time poetry has changed-somewhat-and linguistic fragmentation has been given to poetry, it remains as an artful and mindful expression to/from/for thought. Drawing from Wikipedia, poetry.org gives a reasonable conclusion to what is poetry:
"Poetry (ancient Greek: ποιεω (poieo) = I create) is an art form in which human language is used for its aesthetic qualities in addition to, or instead of, its notional and semantic content. It consist of oral or literary works in which language is used in a manner that is felt by its user and audience to differ from ordinary prose.
It may use condensed or compressed form to convey emotion or ideas to the reader's or listener's mind or ear; it may also use devices such as assonance and repetition to achieve musical or incantatory effects. Poems frequently rely for their effect on imagery, word association, and the musical qualities of the language used. The interactive layering of all these effects to generate meaning is what marks poetry.
Because of its nature of emphasising linguistic form rather than using language purely for its content, poetry is notoriously difficult to translate from one language into another; a possible exception to this might be the Hebrew Psalms, where the beauty is found more in the balance of ideas than in specific vocabulary. In most poetry, it is the connotations and the "baggage" that words carry (the weight of words) that are most important. These shades and nuances of meaning can be difficult to interpret and can cause different readers to "hear" a particular piece of poetry differently. While there are reasonable interpretations, there can never be a definite interpretation" (2005, poetry.org. What is poetry, ¶ 1-3, http://www.poetry.org/whatis.htm).
Secondly, My current book project (Words of Inspiration-Genesis) is not to be taken as a study guide to the Bible or anything of the sort. Although, I do study God's Word and are partaking of an extensive Bible study course, am in no way a theologian, pastor, nor fluent in it's text or/and meaning. Simply am a Christian inspired by the word of God and eager to learn His Word. Thus, my objective to this book project and preceding Words of Inspiration poem books is to express this inspiration. I encourage others to read and study the Bible, God's Word in drawing near to God and our Lord Jesus Christ in finding the truth for yourself.

A Poem for Thought
What Am I Learning
Thoughts: While experience does equal learning; does that mean, we have to experience everything this world offers or what everyone else is experiencing? Such as criminality in ripping people off. Is this experience really a learning necessity or simply a way of getting ahead in a very wrongful manner. And Social Media where it seems to be a learning experience of drama to how many friends one has and/or the drama centered around these friends; A worldly experience of this kind I care not for, as I only need a few real friends. And there are many other worldly experience people partake in simple because everyone else is doing it. As maturing Christians we learn what to discern as necessary experience in asking what am I learning!

Hello Guys,
You may notice with "Words of Inspiration, Genesis" the poems may not be in exact order to the events in the Bible when I present them here. However, in book form they will align with events as they happen in that book(s) of the Bible. I am finding it very interesting, educational, and spiritually uplifting that as I study and learn of these events in the Bible that each time I read back over them I am noticing something new or better in understanding of these events. Or notice other events centered around these events. The inspiration of the poems is much like our Christian lives as we navigate through this now life. Please bear with me as I move through this inspirational objective. Thanks, Doris Elaine
