New " My Form Created" Poem

 We Choose Him In Devotion

Some brag to one as being chosen
But to this understanding, I think not
As we chose Him in devotion

For some religions believe to be chose in
Making themselves the only one in thought
As some brag to one as being chosen

But to this thought wrong to those in
When to the Lord one greatly sought
As we chose Him in devotion

It's truly our choice to make
Not that of men of who is greater
In His eyes we are equal to His sake

For in His words this made straighter
All are loved and many are called
By Him as our gracious creator

In birth to our soul His presence installed
But some brag to one as being chosen
And to this human thought be appalled
As we chose Him in devotion

Thoughts: God does chose people(s) for special task in accordance to His will. And, He does predestine His people in giving a certain task as He already knows who will chose Him and be faithful when the time comes in fulfillment of the special task. A good article to read about being chosen by God at this website https://www.whatchristianswanttoknow.com/what-does-it-mean-to-be-chosen-by-god/. Being chosen does not mean better nor is something to brag about. And being chosen does not mean one being the only one having special connections to the Lord nor that only if chosen for a special task will one have salvation. All are equal in His eyes and all can have the gift of salvation. "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matt. 22:14. NKJV). Abraham, Noah, The disciples were chosen for a special task; but, it was up to them to fulfill this task in devotion to Him.

"My Form Created" Poem-I ask The Lord For....

 I Ask The Lord For.....

I went to Him sincerely in tears
To ask for my deep down desire
For without this my being in fears

On my knee hoping my prayers He hears
As to this desire my soul is on fire
I went to Him sincerely in tears

In His words His care to this He declares
And to this desire with Him acquire
For without Him my being in fears

Little I knew the desire of my soul
As He showed me to Him it be
In my being deep down made whole

In His presence while on my knee
No truer is His love from above
My soul is touched in desire of thee

Asking The Lord for blessings of true love
I went to Him sincerely in tears
Now with Him my desire never void of
For without Him my being in fears
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Many times we have heartfelt desires that are either something we never experienced or we haven't had in a very long time. To this we often go in prayers asking for this desire; which God does promise in His words "Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart" (Psa. 37:4. NKJV). In this promise one must first be delighted in The Lord; our number one heart's desire, for without Him our deep down desire(S) aren't possible. I learned in true love He is my desire for without Him my being in fears.

"My Form Created" Double Tervillazelle-The Difference

 The Difference

I belonging this world not the same
Involving myself pleasures being here
Wondering to what my being became

When to other's ways I play their game
My real being did slowly disappear
I belonging this world not the same

In trying my best to here gain fame
To this making my ways endear
Wondering to what my being became

As I look in the mirror seeing change
Realizing to this hard to smile
Because what I do see now strange

Have not seen the real me in awhile
For to this world my being belong
To this difference my true self exile

Now to my being I fail myself
I belonging to this world not the same
When to my true ways I have shelf
Wondering to what my being became

When to this world not the same to oneself
One must ask to what be the difference
Then try to this world to distance thyself

In being honest and true to yourself
Realizing it's okay as indifference
When to this world not the same to oneself

One must leave this world to itself
When to the Lord one makes preference
And try to this world to distance thyself

His directives to be here not of here
Being the difference belonging to Him
To this one's soul does indeed hear

For to be here one's being is slim
Where temporal this difference at bay
As being of this world one's soul be dim

Now a being shines with Him display
When to this world not the same to oneself
Different here this way without delay
And try to this world to distance thyself

Thoughts:  It's easy to get caught up in the ways of the world; thus, belonging to the world. Yes, we humans are habitual creatures, but we also possess a fabulous mind where we can make determined decisions. Determining rather we want to be in the world or of the world. In belonging to the Lord, He directs us to be in the world, not of the world (1 John 2:15). Belonging to Him, not the world, this be the difference.

New "My Form Created' Poem- The World's Place in You

 The World's Place in You

When it's hard to find your place in the world
To this one can get very withdrawn
It may mean the world found it's place in you

Sometimes things here don't seem as pearled
As to your way you thought you knew
When it's hard to find your place in the world

Then your emotions get greatly hurled
As in this world you try to get through
It may mean the world found it's place in you

Okay to live here but not be of it
In finding your place in Jesus Christ
When to Him one becomes closely knit

As to this place He was sacrificed
Even when our place here seemed grim
For us to be free here His life sufficed

Freedom doesn't mean you here on a whim
When it's hard to find your place in the world
There's always a place to be with Him
Even when the world's found it's place in you
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts:  It's okay to feel out of place in the world. As a matter of fact, as Christians we really are out of place in this temporary world we live. Our home is with Him. It's a common feeling as a Christian to feel out of place. Believe me I've had this not feeling I belong here for a very long time. It's when you get comfortable and feel in place here that one's needs to be wondering and concerned if in finding your place here if the world has found it's place in you. (This poem a little off set and out of place in pattern; but had to be in order to make it's meaning work).

"My Form Created" Poem

   Actively Waiting

Just sitting around can be frustrating
Especially when expecting
Better to be actively waiting

When to one's purpose contemplating
Rather than purposely affecting
Just sitting around can be frustrating

Actively using time allocating
To one's expectancy one creating
Better to be actively waiting

Instead of sitting around wondering
To when one's expect does come
Give one's self to Him in honoring

Then time waiting becomes worth the sum
Because your time is not flawed
Position in purpose has now become

Your actively is now applaud
As sitting around can be frustrating
But now you've given your time to God
In better to be actively waiting
    ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Sometimes it can be very frustrating when you are expecting something and it seems you are just sitting around waiting. Especially when that something is what you have been praying for as an outcome for awhile. I learned in the waiting if one partakes in activities that moves you closer to your purpose for God, the outcome can turn out better than you had hoped for. Rather than be frustrated sitting around waiting, it's better to be actively waiting.

New "Words of Inspiration" Poem

Promise He Keeps His Way

One can believe what He does say
Even when it seems impossible
To His promise He will keep His way

Although action taken due dismay
In the mist of this made possible
One can believe what He does say

When he heard His voice he did obey
But the voice of her made transposable
To His promise He will keep His way

Although the impossible one may wait
However in believing and following
One's faith made strong in one's fate

Then the impossible seen in honoring
The promise made in time of past
And to this one delights in wallowing

Because of one's obedience at last
As one believing what He does say
One stayed faithful and steadfast
And to this promise He will keep His way
    ©Doris Elaine

Inspiration: Book of Genesis, Chapters 12-18. Key Verses 12:1-3 "Now the Lord had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family, And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those that bless you, And I will curse those that curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed" (NKJV). Key Verses 15: 3-5 "Then Abram said, "Look you have given me no offspring, indeed one born in my house is my heir!" And behold, the word of the Lord came to him saying, "This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir." Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be" (NKJV). Key Verses 16: 1-2 "Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar. So Sari said to Abram, "See now, the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her". And Abram heeded the voice of Sari"(NKJV). Abram now ninety-nine years old. Key Verses 17: 4-5 "As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall you be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you father of many nations" (NKJV). And Sari, now called Sarah is well past childbearing age in her late 80's. Key Verses 18: 10 "And He said, " I will certainly return to you according to this time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son" (NKJV).

New "My Form Created" Poem

Strength Under Control

We as Christians learn to maintain a role
As we grow under guidance of the Lord
He will bestow us strength under control

To this reflection of Him our goal
When to us His knowledge is poured
We as Christians learn to maintain a role

He beckons with His words to our soul
Maintaining us under society's sword
He will bestow us strength under control

Our role humble in strength, not timid & weak
To this our right in social preference
In maintaining a soul that's meek

To this being smart makes a difference
And sensible when to His words we grow
In knowledge the Bible gives this reference

In this we socialize as He bestow
We as Christians learn to maintain a role
Being humble in spirit we do show
As He will bestow strength under control
   ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Being a Christian today in this very social world can be hard; especial when interacting on the Social Media. We do have a humbling role to play in society, but that does not mean to be timid. I have learned in being humble we have a right to make social preferences in the way of staying away from certain social activities that overt our role as a Christian; such as, being rude, mean, and causing or interacting in a troublesome way. In trying to win an argument, one has already lost. Better to avoid or walk away. Our role and goal is to maintain meekness in helping to win souls for the Lord. In this role and endeavor the Lord, in His words, can give you strength under control.

"My Form Created" Poem

My Constant

You have been with me a long time
This I do greatly appreciate
Although it has not always been prime

We have been through some things overtime
Of which some have been really great
As you have been with me a long time

For you I would go through again anytime
I thank you as in moments you did wait
Although it has not always been prime

At times I thought for sure you were gone
But you hung in there with great strength
Not leaving me alone you held on

When to your strength mine only a tenth
And you could have flew away as a dove
But you held on to us at great length

As my constant we fit like a glove
You have been with me a long time
To this you've showed me great love
Although times had not always been prime
   ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: Friends are a gift in life and often are not chosen but made over time. Times with a true friend often include trying moments that can test one's friendship(s) on both ends. Although I don't really have what can be called a true friend, there is one being that has been by my side-sometimes I unknowing-through the hard and good times. I am so thankful to know now this being never left my side. That being is Jesus Christ; my constant.
